Tip of the month..
"Backhand Slice" Timing and rhythm is a very important factor for the slice. Notice how the racquet goes back towards the back fence early, when you make contact with the ball your body should lean forward so the racquet brushes the ball with under spin:
  • Pull your racquet using your non-hitting arm
  • Start shifting your weight to the front leg
  • Strike the ball in front of your body, shoulder level
  • Brush the ball with under spin
  • Follow thru leaning forward
